“Why You’re Not Losing Weight After 40 (And How to Fix It the French Way)”

Turning 40 doesn't mean giving up your goals.

Many people notice that what used to work in their 30s no longer work. Let's explore why and how small and sustainable changes can help you lose weight and feel great again.

1- Your metabolism didn't "stop" - it just slowed down

After 40, mass muscle naturally declines. The solution is not starving yourself. It's moving smartly and adding light strength work a few times per week. (I use TRX :).

2- Stress and poor sleep are sabotaging you.

Chronic stress raises cortisol, which can make you crave sugar and store fat. Learning to slow down - a very French habit - helps your body find balance. One tip : you crave and you want sugar, offer yourself different options ("this or this ?"). You'll see your mind will narturally help you to slow down.

3- Stop following extreme diets.

Forget no carbs diet or only protein diets. Focus on real food, pleasure and consistency. Balance does not combine with restrictions.
